Backed the Royals tonight and I'm a little pissed off to say the least at their base running tonight, just flat out awful and killed a lot of their rallies. Its like they thought they were facing Cy Young tonight, running every chance they got in fear they would have trouble getting hits off of Livan. Heck out hit them 11-4 in an error-less ballgame and still lose, pretty bad game for Royals backers.

You are inferring that the Royals were a bad call (bet) but they were clearly the better club at the plate, out hitting the Nats 11-4 and were at plus money, in the +130 range, so how was it such a bad bet. I would think the bettors that layed 140 and up on Livan and the Nats are thankful they got out of that one with a win and wouldn't be making statements like the Royals were a bad play.

I agree with what you said 100%. I dont see how it was such a bad bet. Livan is just annoyingly lucky like I said. Nat-140 here was not the smart bet in my opinion. Royals had their chances and were a pickoff and a couple bad calls away from breaking this one wide open. Christian guzman are nats backers savior here with that solo shot. But I guess this guy will just keep laying the -250 on the Yanks and phils everyday because thats a winning strategy
