Is ARod still MLB's best position player?
When is the last time he was the best player in MLB? Are the roids the difference between now and then? He has been really quiet this season.

      No...certainly not this year.

He's still a very good player but no where near the best position player in baseball.

This is not even a question to be asked any longer, he's lucky if he's in the top 15 in his own league.

Albert may be better but is given more credit than he deserves considering he plays 1st base while ARod is conveniently over-bashed. I'd still take ARod on my team in a heartbeat.

I think he's somewhere in the top 5 still. Last year he was clutch as hell.

A-Rod has kind of morphed into being underrated it seems. No, he isn't the best of the best anymore, but he is still darn good. Just because he isn't a monster anymore it seems that the perception is he isn't as good as he still is. Well, that is poor English but you hopefully get my point.

                            He's still great though.

Arod is slumping bad just like Tex. He can quickly turn it around with the rest of the season/possible postseason to go.
