Clay Buchholz complete game shutout in progress vs Dodgers
Today I'm 2-0 in calling out these big game performances by pitchers. First it was Carl Pavano, then Ryan Royland-Smith from the Mariners.

Buchholz is well on his way.

    3 IP, 0 ERs, 2 hits

    Pitch count: 60

You really are just hurting for attention aren't you? No pitcher has ever pitched a complete game after throwing 60 pitches in 3 innings.

All it takes are a couple of 7 or 8 pitch innings for Buchholz to get the job done. I think they will let him throw around 120-130 pitches if necessary to get the shutout.

I'd love to see it (on the Sox) but it will never happen.

And, as expected, he's done after 7 innings.

I bet Boston, have Buck on my fantasy team, and am throughly impressed.
