Let's try and get back our money + from last night's loss with Dodgers.
Shaky Wakey is on the mound for Boston, the aged veteran knuckleballer.
He's 0-4 with a 6.86 ERA at Fenway this year.
For the Dodgers we have the return of Vincente Padilla, who hasn't played since April 22 due to an injury. His ERA is falsely inflated because he was pitching with that injury and it was only 21 innings.

I think OVER is the play. Warm, humid, & wInds blowing out at 15+mph. In his last tune-up Padilla gave up 6 runs in Triple A in 5.2 innings. Wakefield in his last 3 home starts has given up 19 earned runs in 17 innings pitched. All losses.

not true likin g the over liking the dodgers. this sox squad is firing on all cylinders right now. hot,humid day first start in awhile mr padilla could be in for a long day. right now the sox are not a team to bet against imo

His throw from right field to home plate wasn't off by much.. and the guy had it beat anyway.

I think every one of those teams in the NL West, except for Arizona, are for real. Any one of them is quite capable of taking that division. Even Colorado, three games back right now, with Jiménez as their Ace, might put together a nice little winning streak and overtake the Padres for that #1 spot. I mean, this is a very tight division, quite similar in competition to the AL East.
