sure he could place 50 bets for 2k. the problem with that is the line will keep being adjusted and he gets screwed. there would also be a paper trail once he crossed the title 31 threshold. what you need to understand is the casino views the book as an amenity. they want it to be profitable. a great day for a book is about 15% of an average slot day win. taking 100k wagers on a regular season baseball game and having it hit will cost someone their job. big events like a fight, sb, final 4, bowl games they are far more liberal. book directors are instructed to limit exposure and churn out small profits. not to take risks. when you see guys like richie b, art, johnny a etc...changing jobs it is either for more money or they took wagers without approval and got burnt. venetian used to take big bets without questions asked. adam meyer hit them on a sat in cfb for 5 games at 50k a pop and the next day the 2nd in command(weidner) lowered limits and all plays over 5k needed his approval except for 1 player who is currently locked up over the fry's embezzelment.
