The fire continues. I am not one that likes to brag when i am on a streak but i had been bad for so long i feel good right now. Went 3-1 with my posted picks yesterday and 5-1 with my plays. That brings my three day total to 20-3 after going a horrible 6-11 before that. I hope to keep it up today. I know that this streak will come to a crashing in as i know there is no long term winning streaks like this you can maintain but hopefully it will not be today. As i say this Germany is costing me money and soccer has been horrible to me. Hopefully i can keep up the baseball today. Fridays have not been good to me but hopefully that will change. So lets get started
New york Mets (175) and the new york mets +1.5 (-125) over the new york yankees.
I think i will need to explain this pick. I have played the mets the last seven days and they have been the one of my bright spots. If you read my posts you know i am a mets fan and maybe this is a bad buisness mistake, but i also know they play in streaks. They have been awesome of late and actually winning on the road which is strange. Now They did play the oreos and cleveland which are not to of the elite teams of the American League but wins builds confindence and they are once again playing with this. They go on the road and not really on the road when they travel across town to yankee stadium. I do not trust their japenese pitcher takasha at all. He is very up and down and mostly down but something tells me he will be better here. He will give up some runs but i feel Vazquez will too. I am very surprised at the 9 to 9.5 total here i figure it would be 10. i could possibly take the over if i see it drop to 9. I do like the mets here, and will continue to play them till they lose.
Chicago White Sox +175 over the Washington Nationals
Well this is interesting. We get to see Strausburg again. He is going to be a wonderful pitcher there is no doubt. His first two starts were amazing. I think teams now have a little film on him and are starting to know what to expect which they didnt his first two starts. I think this is a good matchup for the white sox at a good price. I will take these prices against strausburg over the next few starts. He will be overpriced and i still think he will be on pitch count. Build his count get him out of game and win the game. I like the price here go with it.
Texas Rangers -128 over the Houston Astros
I have been playing against Houston since the beginning of the season. I am a sucker i dont like to beat on teams with no offense and even though they have been playing better of late i still can not take them to save my life. I think Texas will pound here. Rodriguez is a good pitcher for houston but does not have the run support to make him great. Look for texas big going pound this and the RL
