I did quit my job Cane. My former boss not only expected me to break federal laws (which frankly, under some circumstances I do not mind), but he is an abusive tyrant to his employees and I can not work under those conditions. I am very good at what I do and do not need a pat on the back for it, but I damn sure will tolerate abuse. I have no children, so I have to eat less shit than a lot of men. Lastly, I am not a cupcake and do have the ability to keep my mouth shut and deal with assholes, but when a person repeatedly screams at me, I know we are just one step from throwing punches. Asshole still has my paperwork and log-book which is illegal, and I have been to his place of business twice... Once with the sheriff, second time with the NY State Police. Crazy fukkin` times we live in. Peace Brother(s).

Thank you CaneDog, I appreciate the support and encouragement. My former boss should realize that he would receive better production from his workers by treating them with respect instead of abuse. I did make one good thing come out of working there. There is a technique to shift a tractor trailer without using the clutch, it is known as "floating" the gears. Since I always respected my former employers I never used their equipment to fine-tune this practice. I not only practiced floating the gears, I jammed the fukk out of them when I did not get it just right. Oh, and they are giving me no loads, and the law in NY State is that they have to pay me for the last two weeks weather I work or not, though I`d rather have a job. Some good men here, you are one of the Cane.
