    MLB (June 17th)
    vs.
MLB (Fenway Park, Boston) - 18.06.2010, 0:10 CET
Single Dime (3 units): Boston Red Sox - Arizona Diamondbacks
These two teams haven't been producing too many runs in this series so far, so knowing the fact that today we've got by far the best pitching duel, I have to go with an under, especially that total runs line is set on 9 runs, which ain't low in my opinion. Red Sox are looking for a sweep in this match-up after winning two earlier matches 6-3 and 6-2 but it won't be as easy as in these game because they'll face Dan Haren (7-4, 4.61 ERA) on the mound. To be honest despite bad statistics, Haren is a sleeping giant, who was considered as one of the best NL pitchers before 2010 season. He's improving lately and I suppose he'll have ERA under three in near future, especially that his last outing was promising - he earned 2 runs in 8 innings, striking-out 9 times. H'e 2-0 with 2.08 ERA in June and I expect him to keep this form, no matter the fact he's facing efficient hosts line-up. On the other hand Diamonbacks have been really ice-cold during this year, being one of the worst teams in the league offensively, so as they combined only 5 runs in two previous game, they shouldn't do much better in here. John Lackey (7-3, 4.54 ERA) is experienced pitcher, who's been pitching in solid fashion in June, posting 3.60 ERA with 2-0 and he ought to be the right guy to shut down mediocre guests. I think that Haren has to pitch a gem today to assure avoiding a sweep and he's capable of doing it, though I still predict hosts to slightly win the game. I project the score as 4-3, so under is valuable choice in my eyes.

    vs.
MLB (Progressive Field, Cleveland) - 18.06.2010, 1:05 CET
Single Dime (3 units): Cleveland Indians - New York Mets
I really love the spot for Mets in this series because they remain to be underrated, being an underdog again. They're about to sweep Indians away from City Field and I feel that they've got everything to achieve that, although it's always extremely difficult, even for top-notch team. Still, Indians are terrible right now and to be honest especially their pitching staff is struggling - they lost 6-7 and 4-8 in this series, having three losses streak at the moment. I honestly doubt that Jake Westbrook (4-3, 4.62 ERA) will change anything in that statement, especially with his recent inconsistent form - he was quite solid in last outing, though struggled big time against White Sox ten days ago, giving up 6 earned runs in 4.2 innings, including a homerun. He's even worse at home (4.80 ERA), so red-hot guests should hit him relatively good. In fact Mets winning streak is six right now and they're working properly in both batting and pitching. 26 hits in two games against Indians is an impressive number and I expect exactly the same in here. Of course R.A. Dickey (4-0, 2.78 ERA) is overrated because he's inconsistent with his knuckleballs and was successful so far, though it may change overnight, however he should be good enough to allow less runs than Westbrook in this contest. He's yet to lose a game and he allowed just 1 earned run in 7 innings against Orioles in last start. He won't be trustful for the course of whole season and his ERA will skyrocket when he faces better opponents, though in this spot he should remain as reliable pitcher. @ 2.040 odds are surprisingly high for me.

    vs.
MLB (PNC Park, Pittsburgh) - 18.06.2010, 1:05 CET
Single Dime (3 units): Pittsburgh Pirates - Chicago White Sox
I really wonder why these two teams are rated nearly equal in this match-up because there's serious difference in pitching, form and general class between them and all of these aspects are for the guests favor, so @ 1.813 is great for their moneyline win. Pirates are awfuly bad another one season, having 23-42 record right now and I doubt they'll improve it in near future, considering their horrible form at the moment. Their losing streak extended to 10 games yesterday and I'll be frankly surprise if they won't be swept third time in a row. They're averaging just 2.67 runs per game in last six games, which is terrible, so I have no faith in them to hit against experienced Mark Buehrle (4-6, 4.93 ERA). He might have not been even average this season, although he definitely possess skills to shut down line-ups like Pirates have got. He's coming from an important outing against Cubs, in which he didn't allow a single earned run in 6.2 innings, having also 7 strike-outs, which is a solid number. He's got 1.80 ERA against this opponent in his career, so he's likely to own them easily. On the other hand mediocre Ross Ohlendorf (0-4, 4.95 ERA) will have hands full of work because White Sox caught solid form of late, being 6-1 over last 7 starts, while he still didn't win a decision. He's 6.75 ERA in June, was hit hard against Tigers in last start (6 earned runs in 6 innings with 10 hits), so he'll allow some runs surely and the bullpen will have to activated relatively early as well (while they're posting 4.44 ERA this season). Sweep is in the way today because White Sox was a lot better in this series so far (won 6-4 and 7-2) and have got a lot better starter pitcher on the mound.

I also have extremely strong feeling that Lakers will win tonight game and grab the title, though don't play them with current spread, having them to win series before Game 6 with @ 1.901 price.

Not the best start with already 2 runs after 1 inning, though still plenty of time to cash an under
