    Bonderman Home UNDERs
I generally loathe taking UNDERs because #1, I hate rooting against offense and #2 it seems like bullpens usually F these up. However at Comerica Park today, Jeremy Bonderman offers a key possibility to getting an UNDER.

At Comerica, Bonderman is 1-2 with a 2.38 ERA in 6 starts with 6 of 6 hitting under. He has also made 6 day starts from what I can gather in 2010 in which the average # of runs scored has been 7. 8 straight starts have fallen at 9 runs or under. Atilano has been better on the road for Washington with a 3.55 ERA. 4 of his 6 road starts have fallen to 9 run totals or under and only his last start vs. CLE did the opposition wind up with more than 4 runs. Add in two pretty solid bullpens and if these starters can get deep into the game, I like Bonderman's UNDER run to continue at home.

    UNDER 9.5 [-110]

Atilano has been shaky though. He's not as great as record or ERA indicates (especially considering that 24/24 K/BB figure).

I think he could get touched up worse than Livan did last night.

Weather shouldn't be an issue. Atilano certainly isn't over powering, but he battles. 10 starts, 7 of them quality ones and his last his defense screwed him into 3 unearned runs. Will certainly look at lineups too for a day game to see who is in and out, but in any case - just my info to pass along, play as you will and good luck ... unless you're on the over.

Pudge and Nyjer Morgan are sitting today. Like Bonderman even more.

              Jackson is out for Detroit.
