Yeah, I think so. The unknown is Luke French.. And this Cardinal team is struggling a little bit. Seattle just snapped a losing streak so one would think they would at least win two in a row..

I like the Cards on the run line as well. I think they hammer French.

SEA has a chance-French has little info that I could dig up. Probably take the ML though as I think your payoff is greater and if STL wins (when) it likely won't be by one run. Cheers and good luck

The Mariners called a players-only meeting before Sunday's game and won. That's probably still fresh on their minds, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were to win tonight. At the same time, the Cards have a massive pitching edge tonight and are too good to keep playing as poorly as they are.

I can't get a proper read on this and the ML is far too inflated, and I never can pull the trigger on the RL. Thus, probably a no-play.

Took the Cards RL, played it big. Wainwright has been fantastic at home this season (5-0, 1.62 ERA). The Cardinals have won all five of his home starts by multiple runs. Also for what it's worth, Wainwright's 4-0 in the starts following a Cardinals loss in his previous start (lost his last start, at LA).

French hasn't done much in the little he's pitched this season, and going back to last season, every indication is that the Cardinals will have their chances (1.71 WHIP last season, allowed eight hits and four runs in 5.1 IP in a relief effort at Texas last week).

Anything could happen, especially with the Cardinals having had their troubles at the plate. But if there's a night for them to bust out, it's with one of their studs on the mound, facing off against an average (at best) pitcher and a team that's mightily struggling at the plate and on the mound right now.

Wainwright gets win number 9 tonight against a still very bad SEA offense.

French facing Cardinals in first start of season.

Luke French will be making his first start of the season, the 13th start of his career and, in all likelihood, the first plate appearance of his career on Monday.

I think Seattle is the play here, guys.
