Now that we're nearly at the halfway point of the 2010 MLB season, I'm feeling we've all seen enough action to make some new rules or guidelines to follow for the remainder of the season. Here are 2 of mine...
Do not bet on any game in which the Orioles have to contribute in any positive way, including sides, run lines and totals. This does not mean to make them an automatic fade (though some of you might see them this way). They can, on occasion, take a stand and make you swallow a lot of chalk. Nevertheless, I think I'm going to pass on any wager that requires them to score runs.
Never bet the Dodgers on the run line, giving up 1.5 runs. They seem to be involved in more 1 run games than anyone; though they do win most of them.
These are observations, mind you. Not thoroughly researched facts. All other opinions are welcome. I know some of you will want to have fun venting on teams that cost you coin. But I would welcome all other helpful observations now that we've seen a good two months of action.
