While his most recent outing was a bit sharper, giving up three runs on six hits in a no-decision versus the Pirates, Lincecum did allow a home run for the fifth time this season. In the two starts before that, he allowed 11 earned runs for an ERA south of 8.00. He may be able to straighten himself out against the cross-bay A’s as he’s 3-0 with a 1.23 ERA in four starts versus Oakland.
