the dodgers tend to go on these long streaks where they win 1 run ball games at a alarming rate. i agree getting wainwright at + money doesnt happen very often id rather go with the under. 2-1 Dodgers

If you don't mind laying the juice the rl for wainwright is probably the safest play tomorrow. I am thinking that the Dodgers might be content with 2. Their bats should get dominated just like carpy did.

I had some good coin on Wainright's last game and he was lights out, albeit it was against the Brew Crew. Nonetheless he looked downright filthy. With that said, I agree with dodgerblue in that I like the under. St Louie has simply lost their bats (*They are batting .237 against LHP over their last 10) . This is what stopped me from taking them today and playing the under instead. Also Wainright's last two away games on the West coast against NL west opponents ended up like this:

May 25 @ SDG L 0-1
Apr 24 @ SFO L 0-2

*Do these outcomes resemble a LAD game? I think so...

*Interesting note: Wainright's last 2 outings in LA were against Kershaw. Box scores below

What's this say? I would most definitely take the under, even though it's only 6.5. If I were to consider a side, I would take STL in the first 5 innings.

It opened on LVSC at 7 -120. It's currently at 6.5 EVEN

Thanks for the stats! I didn't watch a single game today but just from reading the forum I learned that the Cards yet again failed to do anything offensively. I've jumped on the under at 6.5

Tough call on this game. Both teams have great pitcher on the mound. If I were to make a pick I would go with STL to avoid a sweep in this series. It is tough to sweep a decent team in any series and STL is better than average. Like what someone else said on this thread, take the +1.5 rl and pay the juice if the option is available otherwise lay your money on a easier game.

Really don't think it's worth it to put up -200+ for a +1.5 RL, but that's just me. STL could easily loss this game 2-0 as evidenced earlier this season against the Giants

The dog's RL is a gift here because these games are always decided by a 1 run. This could be a 3-2 game. The Dodgers are the champions of 1-run games.
