I never get this thing about baseball....
For the inter league play, Texas manager Washington said there's no reason to risk getting Guerrero hurt, even though he's played four games in right field already this season.

"I'm not playing him in consecutive days like that," Washington said. "I don't want to get him hurt. I'm going to try and figure out a way to get him two [games] in every one of those series."

    --------

How could you hurt yourself playing in the OF....you are more likely to get hurt running the bases after each hit than running to field in OF. I can understand when you rest a 2nd baseman, shortstop and a catcher but others don't need resting. I mean come on...they are athletes....basketball players do more running and jumping in one game than baseball players do overall in one month of games.

I am just venting because I have Guerrero on my rotisserie Fantasy team and currently i am in first place. First 3 places are just 2.5 points apart. I am killing it in all the pitching categories...in offense i am in top as well but the race with the other players is really close. The offensive stats change up the standings every day and Guerrero has been the best offensive contributor to my team. We are doing a $500 per person 12 man team. Winner gets $4000, 2nd place gets $1500 and 3rd place gets $500.

I have Jimenez, Strasburgh, Lincecum, Danks, Hamels, Jamie Garcia, Billy Wagner, K-Rod, Lindstorm, Lidge, Corpas for pitching....i am winning all 5 pitching categories by miles ahead....so its solid. I also had tyler clippard....but dropped him to activate Lidge....i know its a stupid drip but i got 8 wins and amazing numbers from clippard and he will probably pitch well below avg in the 2nd half due to overuse.

me finishing first place depends on my offense.

Hitting the wall. Diving for a catch. Pulling a muscle running full speed. Collisions.

Running head on into your teammate can end your career think about it if the average baseball player can run 20mph and they run in to each other chasing a fly ball, head on, this is a 40mph collision!!!
