We see FELIX as a DOG today against a guy who cant wash Felix's Nuts. We see the Mariners at +725 to win the worst division in baseball. The Mariners have the best rotation in baseball and I really dont think anyone is going to try and debate that.
So the best rotation in baseball should be +725 to win the worst division in baseball just because they are 7 games out with 4 months left. LOL. They could go on a 10-2 stretch and be 2 or 3 games back.
I see this team at +8000 to win the World Series at a good book, but I wont bet it because I am not got to win $16,000 on my $200 bet anywhere other than the Greek/Bet Jamaica and The Greek doesnt have the bet up right now.
But I just checked, Bet Jamiaca has them to win the World Series at +6500. I will just bet it $200 to get $13,000 there because I dont trust any other book in the world to pay that big a hit.
But anyways, so this team is +725 ( which is stupid high) to win the AL WEST but +6500 ( or +8000) to win the World Series. And that makes sense to who ? Not me.
If they do win the AL West, the Mariners would have to be the near favorite to win the World Series by virtue of just having Lee/Hernandez. Anyone remember what teh DBacks did with Johnson/Schilling ? The offensive stars of that team were Mark Grace and Luis Gonzalez. LOL. They had NO Offense at all.
If the Mariners win the Al West and Lee and Hernandez are healthy, I call it 40% that they win it all.
There are +EV lines on this team every fking where. But they may not last long. Let this team make a little run, put together some hitting and maybe win 6 or 7 in a row. They do that and they will be within 2 or 3 , and every body and his momma will be on the bandwagon. the Mariners will quickly become the Butler Bulldogs of Baseball. The value will disappear instantly. Then the very same people who laughed at betting this team +725 to win the AL West will be lining up to be them -300 to win it.

I know everyone likes to jump on whoever the favorite is and ignore these last place teams, but trust me if the Mariners come back and win this division then make a run in the playoffs, there are going to be no less than 50 jokers on this board who will come in talking about how they "pounded" the Mariners back in June. How they made a killing riding the Mariners since June, etc. I am simply saying it now, rather than waiting for the outcome.
