This has been an amazing season for me so far.... and this is one of my favorite plays of the year.


Seattle has been downright horrible this year, especially on the road (7-17).... while Texas has been phenomenal at home (20-10).

The ONLY reason Seattle is a favorite is cause of Cliff Lee.... but the problem for Seattle is, he can't score runs for them. Seattle has scored 2 runs or less in 12 out of their 24 road games this year.... They are also hitting just .234 on the road against RHP. They also got outscored 18-8 in the previous 3 game series at Texas this year.

Feldman has been horrible lately, but has had some real success agaisnt alot of these Mariners hitters.... Feldman is 4-1 in his 5 starts against the M's the last year and a half..giving up just 10 ER in 33 IP.

Texas has been one of the best home teams in the league.... They are hitting .275 at home versus LHP and are 6-1 in the last 7 at home vs LHP. Lee shut them down a few weeks at the friendly confines of Safeco, but overall... the Rangers hitters have had very good success against him....While there have only been a few hitters with much past against him.... Young is 10-27 vs Lee and Kinsler is 8-16. When those two hit, it usually means good success for the Rangers.


I will take the superb home team as a dog 100 out of 100 times in this matchup. Great value and the Rangers should win.

If I could do it all over again, I would... still feel like I was on the right side but Feldman just got off to a very slow start.

You have to roll with it when you feel you are on the right side. Easy to look back at the why's an why nots. That's the beauty of baseball, you can get right back on the horse the next day.
