Whats your method for capping o/u

I pretty much stay away from over unders due to the fact that I haven't come up with a way to cap them.Hoping someone will share a good technique.Thanks in advance.

I don't really play o/u but I do play some wagers that are basically runlines so I kind of need to have an idea of scores. May sound simplistic but I try to average out starting pitchers plus pen plus team era plus hitting avg's. Gives me a general idea of the score but of course runs come can come in bunches...Curious to see if someone has a sweet mathematical formula they're willing to share. Maybe Sawyer would be a good person to ask? Cheers
