He's given up 16 runs on 24 hits in just 17 innings, allowing a .300 BA to his opponent) Love the fact that Mark Carlson is behind the plate for Cahill once again also

Did I mention that Guthrie is 1-5 lifetime against the Sox? Not to mention Boston is 8-2 when coming off a 1st game of a series win, whereas Baltimore is 2-10 coming off a 1st game of a series loss

MIL is 2-10 when coming of a 1st game of a series loss. Over their last 10 games STL is batting .309 as a team while carrying a 2.55 ERA. On the other hand MIL is batting just .243 while carrying a 5.47 ERA (Their bullpen's ERA is 7.41 over this period, whereas STL is one of the best late inning hitting teams in the league)
