Blue Jays hate lefties..

Yanks are hitting . 288 versus lefties so far this season, . 289 in last 10 games. On the other side, Blue Jays are struggling versus soutpaws, hitting only . 190 versus southpaws when playing at home and . 200 overall.

Great Analysis, but ...

I love the analysis. The pic of that young lady is also exceptional.

Pettite has also made Toronto bats very quiet in recent meetings btw.

I just find it hard to bet against the Jays right now. I watched that game yesterday (had them +1.5), and there is something about that team right now and the atmosphere at the park. It was electric when Bautista launched those two HRs. There were a few terrific defensive plays.

Hard for me to buy that they don't show up today just b/c they struggle against lefties. The Jays lineup is almost as potent as the Yankees'. Pettite's having a great year, but Romero is no slouch.

Seems pretty unusual that you get the Yankees for only -130 when it's their #2 pitcher and they are playing well. The value seems great. I just think it's 50 / 50 whether the Jays really do have a pitiful showing against a lefty today OR come out and hit 3-4 bombs, and tomorrow we're seeing threads about the Yankees are a LOCK b/c NO WAY WILL THE JAYS SWEEP. And if that happens I'm taking the Jays tomorrow.
