Angels.
Looks like Doug Fister is scratched for tomorrows game. In his place will be Ryan Rowland-Smith. He has been in the bull pen for his last three appearances. His first start since May 17th. Did not give up a run in relief. Over his last 3 actual starts he pitched 10 innings, gave up 24 hits and 16 runs.
Ervin Santana starts for the Angels tomorrow. He is 3-0 with a whip of 0.96 and e.r.a. of 1.57 over his last three starts. Averaging almost 8 innings per start over those 3 games. Santana and the Angels getting about +105.
Fish/Mets over 9.5
Its Robertson versus Niese for the pitching match up. Both are gas cans. Niese has started 2 games this year against the Marlins. First game he pitched okay giving up 3 runs in 6 innings of work. His next outing against the Marlins he got torched. Lasted only 2 innings giving up 4 hits and 5 runs. After the fish saw him for a second time he wasn't fooling anyone at the plate. Niese has a 8.76 e.r.a over his last 3 games.
Over Robertsons last 3 he has pitched 17.1 innings giving up 16 hits, 9 walks and 9 runs. Over the past 6 starts for both pitchers the over has gone 5-1 in those games. Robertsons e.r.a. is 4.14 over his last 3 starts.
Reds
Pitching match up favors the Reds here. Matt Leake has a 0.93 e.r.a over his last 3 starts. Funny the Reds have lost all 3 of those games with that kind of pitching performance. lol.
Luis Atilano goes for the Nats. He is 2-1 with a 6.06 e.r.a over his last 3 starts.
Over the past 10 games the Reds are hitting .315 against right-handed pitching. Even though they lost 4-2 earlier this evening they still managed to bang out 12 hits against the Nationals. Nats only hitting .238 against righties. Don't think they will get too many opportunities against Leake tomorrow. Reds getting about -135 currently.
Also like the Boston Red Sox for the first 5 innings tomorrow. Anyone on these games for tomorrow?
