The Minnesota Twins bats have been ice cold as they have produced no more than 1 run in their past three road games with Seattle .Dallas Braden has pitched well at home this season as he sits with an ERA of 2.14 and a WHIP of just 0.81 in 6 starts. Braden in his past three starts against Minnesota has allowed no more than 2 earned runs in those outings. The Athletics bullpen has pitched well at home as the unit sits with an ERA of 2.90.
Oakland has a quick turnaround as they flew cross country from Boston yesterday following their 7 game road trip so their offense will be impacted tonight.
Scott Baker is coming off three pretty good starts where he allowed just 6 earned runs. The Twins starter is a perfect 4-0 versus Oakland during his career with an ERA of 3.24 in those 4 starts. He too is backed by a good Twins bullpen and their unit sits with an ERA of 3.08.
