Fading Halladay game after perfection: SD +196

Phils are struggling mightily, returning from a road trip and a brutal sweep against Atlanta, Latos is a quality starter, SD is 14-9 on the road (10-3 L13), Phils are barely above .500 at home....

I could see a 3-2 SD win here.

The RL is the better play, but I doubt that covers either.

Remember that West Coast pitchers, are overrated due to the size of their parks, and weather.

You beat me to the thread. I like it a lot.

Plus, against teams over .500, SD is 16-6 while the Phils are just 10-13....and the Dads are even a game better on the road than the Phillies are at home.

The weak hitting Padres are also at .296 the past 7 games...no need mentioning the other side of that contest.

            4-2 (team), 1.51 era, 41 IP, 23 H, 7 ER 37 K, 9 BB...who's month of May do you think that is.

Halladay's a witch, but Latos is every bit as hot...I like the "dog" in this fight.

I am on the Friars as well. My local had them at +205. I also took the UNDER at 7.5...

what does phillies offense have to do with halladay? he might not get the W, but if hes on he only needs one of two runs

Uhhhh....the offense is the other half of the equation. In the last 12 games, they've scored ZERO runs five times, and one run once. Based on that trend/slump, Doc almost HAS to be perfect to justify that chalk.
