          I see Hall making $8.4 mil in the last year of his deal with an option of $9.25 mil or $500,000 buy out. Seattle paying $7.15 to Boston this year.

                          thats how it works in baseball somtimes..... you have one good year and show potential and boom, you get a big contract for multiple years.

                          too bad its not like the NFL, where you have to continue to earn your contract...

                          but oh well, i'm fine with the players getting a healthy piece of the owners pie
