i was just watching mlb network, and they showed the game...it's POURING. I really doubt they'll play.

per the weather channel the storms should be ending by 9pm. the internet it is an amazing thing, you can look up everything

Anybody have any idea what time they would have to call the game by? Is there a general rule of thumb for calling baseball games? Like a certain amount of hours after it is scheduled to start or something?

I believe it's up to the Cubs. They have to travel after this. From what I understand they can choose to play it or make up at a later date. This happened the other night also, but I forget who was involved.

Had the cubs for this game, so kind of glad it got cancelled. Was not feeling confident in the Z man, he is too unpredictable. Anyone know if they have said if and when they will reschedule? Was chasing the cubs in the series, so wondering if i will chase the rescheduled game or chalk it up as a loss for the series. With the way the first two games went, I think I would be more inclined to just cut my losses with the cubs at this point. Their offense isn't doing terrible, but it's not enough run support to prevent the bullpen from throwing away the game...
