Regionals start on June 4th followed by The Super Regionals and then The College World Series begins on June 19th in Omaha!

Virginia is solid. I wouldn't be surprised to see them advance to Omaha.

I still remember last June when they defeated Strasburg and San Diego State in the Regionals.

Virginia was around a +180 or +185 dog.

I will always take the champion from a power conference over a one-man team.

Both Clemson and Oklahoma punched their tickets to Omaha today and field of 8 is set.

This should be a fantastic CWS this year.

Any of the 8 teams can win the title, there is no clear cut favorite, in my opinion.

TCU defeated Florida State 8-1 and UCLA easily got past Florida 11-3.

Obviously, final season rankings and seeds mean nothing once these teams get to Omaha.

Throw that stuff out the window.

Surprisingly, Florida is the first school to go home and Arizona State gets stung by Clemson.

In my opinion, UCLA and Oklahoma are now the favorites to win it all.

It will be interesting to see how the Sun Devils bounce back though...

They played with no intensity and no passion at all. What a huge disappointment.

It's almost as if they expected their opponents to just lie down and not fight.

I actually blame a big part of their performance on the coaching staff. They definitely lacked that killer instinct.

Not to make excuses for them, but it looked like the rain delay threw them off a little. First game against Clemson started at 9 am arizona time. Difficult to do anything that early, much less play baseball.

Tonight's game should be good. Looks like South Carolina is going to go with their ace Blake Cooper, who threw a little under 70 pitches against OU on Sunday, instead of throwing a lefty out there against a left handed dominated OU lineup.
