Why do the Cubs continue to bat Aramis fourth?

True enought but Cubs are doing relatively well this game. Looking at the numbers I figured they were about par with Pitt but couldn't come down on a side. Might be depressing for Cubs backers to be at the Pirates level...Cheers

Great question. Guy has had a tough season so far, hasn't hit above .200 since the first week of the season. I'd be pissed if I were a Cubs fan.

plus he is killing Derek Lee, pitchers don't have to go after him knowing Ramirez is an out waiting on deck.

WHY NOT BAT SORIANO 4th!? It makes no sense. Cubs get a guy to 2nd with none out and can't cash him because guys like Aramis hit fourth. So sad. I must be a masochist because I haven't learned to stay away from the Cubs.

Put Aramis on the DL for 15 days.Let the thumb heal and bring him back to triple A ball to tune up and hit the shit out of some pitchers to get him confidence back.
