had a decent night's sleep, ready to roll today. WG hope you rested up too but reading the posts sounds like you were hard at work. I am with the others, we tail and win, we need to thank you for all the hard work, if we happen to lose, then don't complain it is part of the game and we ulitimately pull the trigger for our own. So thank you for all the wins, and for the losses well that is what happens in games of chance. But if it wasn't for you, I would just be guessing with my limited knowledge, but you looking at what you look at has consistently given us the best chance to win. Thanks again and good luck today.

First of all as usual I have read ALL the posts. I would comment personally but I am working on the plays and watching the World Cup rooting for South Korea, but I wanted to thank the amazing comments, and I LOVE to see such smart and correct posts that show me that you guys understand what is going on and understand what I'm thinking.
About the NFL that is one sport I didn't cap yet but I will this season.

I just want to say I REALLY like the play I just posted and might have it as the MONSTER for today, the only thing that scares me is the fact the great Santana had some problems this week with the police that might affect him, for good or bad, I hope for good, so we shall see. I need to read more about it.

I try to stay away from unders, but i spotted this mets/minn play last night.

Pavano has let up 49 earned runs in his last 20 games against Mets, and like you said, Santana is Santana as long as he comes out and plays his game.

I'd Go Easy On This One

The Mpls papers are very critical re. the Twinkies this A.M.! Lack of effort & Mauer's "slump" hitting 300 as a C, seems you go from hero to goat in the blink. Anyway the total on this is too iffy for me, as both Pavano & Johann can be lit up at times. For an U, I much prefer the WSx U 9. BOL to all.

You can't make an over/under a monster play because an O/U is just a guess, that's all it is. Just another way for the 'books' to get more money out of us. It's hard enough to pick a winning side but at least there's some rhyme and reason to it. For an O/U you might as well just flip a coin.

This statement is SO untrue on many, many levels. If anything totals are easier to hit because you have more factors to figure into the equation to help you narrow down the likely conclusion.

knowing the ump tendencies helps, knowing the pitcher/batter history helps, knowing the weather helps, it is just a matter of picking the right spots.

some bets win, some bets lose it is that black and white. Whether you win by a 1/2 run or by 20, the win counts the same. Same goes for losses. By 1/2 run or by a million it is still a loss.

when anyone caps a game you can only put the stats on your side as best you can. Then it is up to the players to perfrom up their previous capabilities. Sometimes they don't do that and you win or lose by a lot... it is just a win or loss, and then you move on.

Grumpy has done a fine job so far on putting money in the pocket of people. Let him do his thing. There is never a need to say sommething negative to him. He didn't tell you to tail him, you did that on your own.

Keep up the good work grump. May all your plays today win by 5
