RA Dickey ain't pretty, but he's got a couple things going for him today. First thing is an undisciplined Brew Crew lineup. If Dickey's knuckleball is working, guy's like Prince & Corey gonna be swinging at the wind. Second, if the roof is closed that knuckleball is gonna be even more effective.
Now let me tell you what I don't like about Dickey....it's the fact that this Tennessee bred moonshine drinking good ol' boy don't wanna tell people his first name. I've been saying for donkey years there's something wrong with any guy who uses initials instead of his effin full name. Tell me mountain man...is yo momma proud you ain't using the name she gave ya? but seriously brah....Jerry Manuel gonna have plenty of backup warmed up in the pen from the get go. At least Mets have a bullpen....Milwaukee ain't got shit for pitching. Their only two guys who can pitch are on ice today.
It's possible the wolfman has a bounce-back moment today.....but bottom line is this game is a coin flip at worst. Mets are the better team period. Forget the last two days. Brew crew had to win sometime. But trust me....this price is effin nuts brah.
Brew Crew in bad shape & it's gonna be at least until August before this garbage team gets their pitching turned around. I think problem with Macha is he's loyal to the veterans on this team.....the worthless junkerballers earning $10M this year sporting ERAs above 5.
