There is always value going against heavy chalk for the simple fact the books give you the false illusion that if you eat the chalk like a good boy your bet on it is guaranteed.. Wrong!!!! I seen this happen a lot more times than not ,,,Just look what happened to the Redsox 2 days in a row now,, they were the hottest team in the MLB coming into the series beating the shit out of the Rays they swept them I'll add,,,, also the Yanks and the Twins now all the sudden they lose to the worst team in baseball the Fukkin Royals twice to boot!!!! Ya right this MLB is more rigged I think than the NBA and that is a very very very very bad thing...

I respectfully disagree with this. Just because there's value there doesn't mean its a "smart move" per say. This is not poker where you're getting pot odds on a set win percentage (say the flush you're chasing hitting a certain percentage of the time, etc)...there is still a very small chance cleveland wins here.There is always value going against heavy chalk for the simple fact the books give you the false illusion that if you eat the chalk like a good boy your bet on it is guaranteed.. You are correct in saying you would be foolish to lay -320 on the yanks, but that does not make laying ANYTHING on cleveland a "smart move" IMO. because even if you're only paying 37% of your base unit to win a unit profit, you have to win this play about 1-3 times to break even on a play with these odds. I'm not certain but I'd venture a guess that +270 dogs do not win approximately 1-3 times.
Seems that this is a clear no play, but I agree you are foolish to EVER lay -300 on any game in a sport where a team plays 160+ games.

no way cc had his worst start last game he gave up 6 runs...... now huff clevelands starting pitcher has a 6.11 era on the road and hes playing in nyy stadium.. also puitching coach for the yanks saw a problem in cc's delivery and they had a few workouts during the week they say they fixed his delivery problem.. yankee skipper said thats what his issue was delivery was off with canu hitting hot i say no take nyy and i also like -1.5 as wellComment -

I got the Yanks. It's now 10-6 Yanks with 1 out and 1 on in the 7th. I'm not feeling all that comfortable right now. Yankees bullpen has been completely unreliable at best. Robertson relieved CC in the 7th and he just got injured after 1/3 inning. Mitre on the mound now. Orioles have scored in 4 straight innings now.Comment -

Didn't see any of the game, just checked the espn scores and saw someone say it was 10-0 or something and the Yanks blew it. That's frigging brutal-like I said earlier CLE was worth a look, I passed on it but kudos to anyone that took. CheersComment -
