    ** 7 Rules 4 Success ** May 28th, 2010
Day 2 here at SBR. I appreciate the warm welcome from everyone in yesterday's post.
The Rules have filtered down the card leaving me with one play for today. Well technically two if you count the Cardinals, but off a tough travel day I'm opting to lay off the Cardinals and not let the Cubs burn me by 1 run at home for the second straight day.

I invite those who wish to free themselves from the constant temptation of opportunity to join me in following a disciplined path to success. I'm not trying to sell anything other than the need for enlightenment. I'm rolling with the Mariners today, so lets hear it, are you with me or not!?

    MAY 28th, 2010 - SBR RECORD YTD (1-1) +12

    [979] SEA MARINERS -108 (Lee)

    Best of luck cappers!

      Thanks Birdman. Good luck tonight!

Sorta kicking myself for not taking the Cards, but another freak outing that I have no problem laying off and saving my money for another day.

What I have heard, and after last years result, one should not go against Lee... but their batting are a little cold, so i am staying away here... BOL with it

M's bats aren't "cold" - there offense is just terrible - but if they're going to get runs Kazmir looks like a good opportunity -

And getting a top 3 pitcher in the AL at -108, seems like a deal.

Ok thanks for the input, first year trying capping the sport and being Swede I have limited knowledge for the sport and terms to use

I do factor in how a team is doing at the plate. While the M's offense is nothing spectacular, there are plenty of ways to score runs. Before you decide which offense is more potent, one thing to consider is that the M's have a higher OBP% and SLG% the past 10 days.

                      Discipline is key...

LOL! I did that in college and it go me nowhere fast. I don't have the patience for that type of lifestyle anymore. Time is money for me. The Cardinals did fit my system, I never just bet plays I like as the system tells me what I like, that's why I made it! I never force a bet, and with the Cards traveling situation not being favorable I have better bets to make. Not to mention, Randy Wells just had a shit outing that few could predict. Few will believe that fewer games and added discipline can make you more money in the end, but I've been lucky enough to see it for my own eyes.

Another winning day in the books! A nice win, but its time to take a look at Saturday's card and see if anything rises to the top. Check my thread and join me!
