The Rays are a perfect 4-0 in Price’s last four outings and that’s even more impressive when you consider three of those four games were played on the road.

Even when he struggles with his command, as he did this past weekend in Houston, the Rays offense is still capable of bailing him out.

Duke will keep the Pirates in it, but the Braves are just too hot right now. I see Lowe holding down Pittsburgh’s bats again, and Atlanta will tack on an extra insurance run or two against the Pirates’ pen in the late innings to turn what may be a close game into a comfortable win.

The Mets are playing good baseball as they are winners of 5 straight games.
Johan Santana has pitched well allowing just 3 earned runs over his past three starts with a WHIP of just 1.
In four home games Gallardo sits with an ERA of over 4. He is backed by an awful bullpen that enters this game with an home ERA over 6. Gallardo got no run support in his two starts against New York last year that resulted in two losses by the Brewers.
