    ** 7 Rules 4 Success ** May 27th, 2010
    New here to SBR, but I have lurked for many months. I like the activity on this forum and hope to start some good discussions. I'm a disciplined capper with several years under my belt looking to offer my take on how to bet baseball while still having a day job.

    I never start betting MLB until the 6th week of the season, so I just started laying wagers a couple weeks ago. Been pretty decent so far. Here are the two plays the 7 Rules deem worthy for Thursday.

    MAY 27TH - SBR RECORD (0-0) +0




    LA DODGERS +113 (Ely)




    NY METS +112 (Pelfrey)

      Record is now 0-1 (-100)

      Tough way to lose my first pick here at SBR... 1-0 with the 1 run coming in the 8th after 7 shutout innings. While losing is never fun, I still take satisfaction in losing 1-0 and not 11-0.

      It is time for the Mets to even things up for me tonight. There was one more pick that moved out of consideration for me as it pushed up to -130 and -140, but the Athletics were a play for me at -120 if anyone can sucker their bookie still.

          Finished up 1-1 (+12) on the day...

          Finished up 1-1 with a little change in my pocket. Shame I laid off the A's, but not a type of game I want to win...

          It is time to put tomorrow's card through my 7 Rujols and see what comes out the other end. Look for my post tomorrow! One thing you can count on is that win or lose, I'll never make a bet I regret. Best of luck!

              Yeah, keep it up, don't get discouraged.... 1-1 isn't a bad start. And if you really get rolling, I'm sure plenty of people here will start tailing you.

              I'll be waiting to see what teams come out of your 7 rules filter you got going.
