    Mlb monday
Boston has had their problems at Tropicana Feild posting a 6-17 record in the last 23 meetings there, and things got even worst in the first series in fenway against the Rays back in April where the Rays caught the Red Sox in a funk where they lost 5 of 9 games and The Rays swept them in a 4 game series as the Rays out scored the Sox 24-9, but things have gotten better for Boston as they have won 5 of 6 games including a 8-3 victory of Halladay and the Phillies in philadelphia on Sunday. Clay Buchhlotz will get the call for the Red Sox. He is having one of his better starts this season posting a 5-3 record with a 3.26 ERA. Buchholz gave up four unearned runs over 5 innings to fall 6-5 to the Rays back on April 17th, dropping to -2 with an ERA of just over 2.oo in 5 starts against Tampa Bay, But it has been a great road season for Buchholz posting a 3-0 record with a 1.86 ERA with The Red Sox winning all three of his starts in hostile territory and 2-1 in his last 3 starts.
Tampa Bay owns the best record in baseball at 32-12 aided by a 14-4 mark against the AL east opponenets including a 4 game sweep at Fenway as the Rays out scored the Red Sox 2409, dispite batting a lowly .204 and striking out 33 times. Tampa Bay will sent the counter pitcher Wade davis to the hill to counter Buchholz. after giving up ton runs over 5 2/3 innings in Wednesdays 10-6 road iwn over the Yankees, it was his first win in his last 3 starts. Wade got a win at Fenway earlier this year giving up 1 run of 2 hits in 5 innings, But was shelled last year by the Sox for 8 runs off 6 hits in 2.2 inings. Wade has pitched past the 5th inning only four out of eight starts and has made it to the 7th inning only once this season. Look for wade to get into trouble early and the Red Sox get revenge from the Sweep back in Boston earlier this season. The Red Sox get a rare win at Tropicana Feild.

I have to go with the Rays also. I think they want to send a message to Boston same as they did to Yankees

GL. Also like the Sox here. The Rays will struggle at home this year. They're quietly establishing themselves as a road team.

I went to all of the Rays games in Houston this weekend, and it seems to me that the Rays have some base running issue. Aside from all of the steals, there were several mistakes.
