I know Phillies will have Doc on the mound in this contest but come on -232 is insane! Halladay won't play perfect every game. Not to mention, bullpen can ruin the game too. In addition, Phillies' hitters are a little bit cold lately. Think twice if you like to bet on Phillies, even if they win tonight, you should know it's not a valuable bet..

if you bet the phillies you are plain stupid. wakefield could certainly get rocked but he also throw a shutout too. sox and over (two straight bets) with the sox scoring 4 runs in the game you cannot lose. good luck.

This line seems a little fishy. the sox have seen a lot of Halladay, as he used to be in the AL east. In fact, they've had more success agaisnt him than any other team in the bigs. His record against them is 14-14 with a 4.28 era. Only Pedroia and Beltre have struggled agaisnt him. Seems like the books are trying to get people to take the Sox, which probably means the play is Philly. Best to stay away from IMO.

If anything, the over might be the play. Sox success against Doc + wildcard Wakefield might = lots of runs. Then again, Doc may be on his game and Wake may have one his good days where he goes 7 with 1 run. Like I said, probably best to stay away.

This is not brain surgery. If the Yanks or Rays were dogs in any 3 game series you would bet them too. Sox = dogs = bet. If you don't understand this hopefully one day you will. And by the way, you will lose a few a long the way but will profit at the end of the day.
