LAKER_CRAZY'S HOT 6 PLAYS FOR HIS THREAD TONIGHT
( ALL 5 UNIT PLAYS)
1) Tampa Bay Devil rays vs Toranto Blue Jays ( Pick Game totals Under 8 @ -125) : This is one of the first attractive plays for the evening for me.The rays will be sending David price on the mound and the jays will counter with Shaun Marcum and i personally feel this one has the makings of one of the most potential pitching matchups and it would not be easy to get hits against them,leave alone the runs.Price is 3-0 with an impressive 2.9 ERA against the bluejays and shaun marcum has even better figures here going 1-0 against the rays with a 0.83 ERA.I dont care what the line says here on the books,i would gladly accept this offer of two good pitchers going against each other and this should end as a pitcher's duel.The under is the call here fellas.Good luck.
2) Tampa Bay Devil rays vs Toranto Blue jays ( Pick Tampa bay devil rays Moneyline @ + 102) : This game is going to be close and i see that a lot of people are currently on the jays with marcum on the mound for them.For me though it is hard to bet against the rays after their performance yesterday.They are a good unit and they will always be in this game.I see the rays edging out a close one against the blue jays tonight.Good luck here.
3) Chicago Cubs Vs Pittsburg Pirates ( Pick Chicago Cubs Moneyline @ -138) : This one is a chase of sorts for me as the cubs disappointed yesterday after benching a few of their main players and still the cubs nearly ended up winning last night.Carlos Zambrano is on the mound for the cubs ( who i must admit is very unpredictable) and the pirates will be countering with Duke on the mound.The impressive bit about tonight's matchup is that zambrano is currently 7-1 at the PNC park and he pitches well there.Duke is 0-8 with an ERA of 4.94 in the last 13 meetings.I think this is a perfect opportunity for the cubs bats to light up and give the pirates a hammering.I say the cubs will win this one comfortably.Good luck.
4) Detroit Tigers vs Clevland Indians ( Pick Detroit Tigers -1.5 @ +130): The tigers will be looking to avoid a 7th defeat in 8 games when they host the indians at home tonight.Carmona will be pitching against gallaraga tonight.Even though gallaraga has struggled in his last five outings against the indians,i would take note of the fact that the indian line up is much different right now and certainly weaker after sizemore got injured.The indians have an unpredictable bullpen as well,for even if they get a good start from carmona,i dont think their bullpen can last the distance.I expect the tigers to break the slump tonight and get this win by more than 2.Good luck.
5)Oakland Athletics vs Boston Red Sox ( Pick Oakland Atheletics Moneyline @ + 131) : I think if oakland seriously has any chance of winning against the sox,it couldnt have come at a better time.The athletics will send their ace sheets to the mound against Matsuzaka who has clearly struggled this season and does not seem to be fully fit.He did throw well against the phillies in his last outing but with the way phillies bats have performed,i can bet anyone could throw good to them right now.However it would be intresting to see how the sox tackle sheets as i feel he has the stuff to get by them and win this one straight up for his time.I am riding the athletics train tonight folks.Good luck.
6) New york Yankees vs Baltimore Orioles ( Pick Game totals Over 9.5 @ -120) :The oriloes managed to limit yankees to 3 runs last night.However it would be hard to think they can repeat the same thing tonight given the fact that the yanks bats have been hot off late and the yankee stadium is no big to clear.The best part about the over bets with these teams is that your over will always stay in the game because you never know what the yanks can come up with in a single inning.Hughes takes the mound for the yanks and he has an 6.67 ERA in last 6 starts against the oriloes and the orioles will send Brad bergesen on the mound who himself is 0-1 with a 7.59 ERA in his last 2 games.I expect runs in this game and enough of them to go over the set line here.Good luck everyone.
