Pirates sweep the earlier series and win yesterday, which makes them 4-0 this year against the Cubs. Maholm is 5-1 lifetime against the Cubs while Dumpster is 6-8 against the Pirates. Yet the odds open up at -215/+195! What am I missing here?

You are missing nothing.!! The line is high and may have value but Pitt. is a bad team, and yes the CUBS ARE not great,but not that bad. Maholm is 5-1 vs. Pitt. but has a fat 6.63 ERA vs them.!! Dempster is 2-3 with a respectable 3.44 ERA. Dont get me wrong I am not saying to be the CUBS, in fact Pitt has beaten CUBS IN 6 straight meetings dateing back to last year.Comment -
