I stopped following 3 weeks ago when I found out Vegas Gold does not change his system at all. He can NOT be a professional gambler. No one should pick blindly series after series. I do thank Vegas Gold for his "style of play." I have been winning with it. I am not afraid to pick a road team, or tail a bad home team versus a bad road team.

Glad the Giants won...bet two games tonight...lost on Cards and finished up very slightly thanks to the Giants... Only the 2nd and 3rd games I think I have bet since i ended my thread a few weeks ago... I never system bet in September...

VG hopefully you bounce back from this nightmare you have been in for two weeks. Do you believe in reducing games when you are in a slump? I noticed you dollar amounts keep getting higher even though you continue to lose...

Maybe step back... slow down and pick only a max of 3 games... Either way good luck and sorry to see a few come in your thread for no reason but to attack you...

To those of you that were always loyal.......I thank you all. I have given everyone everything I had and hopefully most of you won. This has been the worst string of days that I have ever had and I am sorry for that. I truly appreciate most of you for that great loyalty. I have read some real words of wisdom from some of these guys who have a lot to say after the games are over. Over most of the summer, when we were winning almost every week; they were no where to be seen. Now they have come out of the wood work. I came here to do something this summer (after a family tragedy in the Middle East) to try to help as many of you as possible to show you that you could beat the Man and we did. We didn't win as much as I would have wanted all of you to win but we did win. When all of this "bullshit" from some of the superstars started, it no longer was enjoyable for me and actually changed my way of thinking. I have met some wonderful people here and I hope to remain friends with them for a long time to come. To the people who came here to criticize......try to start your own thread and help teach someone your own money management plan along with making your daily picks and come out a winner like we did here. I wish you all luck. To my friends here.....It was a great run and I wish you the best in football and basketball. As I promised, I will be there for you this year. Take care...........Vegas Gold

Good speech my friend. Hope you'll keep betting on baseball... Don't get disturbed by people who don't trust in your handicapping skills. Recently, most of the favorite teams like Atlanta Braves and Newyork Yankees have lost their games... I think it's time to bet on most of dogs, except when a dog is opposing teams like the Twins or Phillies because those teams often win a couple of games continuously.

Judging by what I'm reading on a lot of threads it sounds like most of us are really struggling right now. I know it's been bad for me. I sure hate to see the bashing of good cappers when things start going south. Sure it's frustrating during losing streaks but bashing people that go to the trouble of running threads doesn't solve anything. I know I've posted stuff on the forum after tough losses or periods of losses that I wish I hadn't afterward. I guess we all do at times when we are frustrated.

I can honestly say that I learn something everyday on this forum from the wide variety of great cappers we have. For anyone trying to be successful at sportswagering these forums are the best free advice you will ever get. I really appreciate how much I've learned from someone like Vegas Gold. I hope VG won't let a few people stop him from continuing on with what he does well. September has just been a horrible month for baseball. Let's all try to work together to accomplish our goal of BEATING THE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!

I will definately remember next MLB season to back off in late August. Seems like the Dogs really stepped up starting in late August. This has been another learning experience. Hopefully football will get back some lost money. If I forget please remind me in time before we go through this again!!!! LOLOLOL!

Let me translate and play the role of VG's conscience. You other cappers seriously need to get off of this "I told you so" bullshit. The man has made thousands of dollars and stuck to the same strategy for the entire season. September is a bad month, we get it. But what if he won? What if he hit 80% of his picks and rubbed it in your faces? Not a single one of you guys would step up and say... "Hey VG, you know what? I was wrong. Sorry about bashing your capping methods."

And to you, G...

I am not going to join in the thumping of VG... But several of us quit baseball by the end of August for a reason... Betting five to seven favorites a night just does not work at this point... I suggest cutting to three games... guys be careful here with your unit amounts... I notice the totals are rising. This is what happened in TA's thread before he got washed out... but of course his way around it was to simply not answer questions and not change unit totals... Guys be careful!

This post screams of hypocrisy. You're coming on to a fellow capper's thread warning his followers about his style of betting. Yet "you're not thumping him". Well you may as well be. That's straight up disrespectful dude. How would you feel if VG came into your thread telling your people that it's a bad idea to chase? People have done it to you before, and you weren't happy about it. Don't do it to others man.

I was commenting on what went wrong under the assumption that he was done with baseball as he said... Picking favs in September especially the first two weeks can be hazardous... I have said this before and will say it again. But I do believe that at this point it could take a turn back in his favor...
Hopefully he has a plus night tonight... I am pulling for him and if I make a suggestion about the favs maybe I have learned by trial and error in the past and was just stating as a warning... I will hope he wins and comment again because I do enjoy the thread...
