Mariners at Orioles Early game tommorrow

BAL: Millwood (0-4, 3.26 ERA)


The Mariners simply cant hit....neither can the Orioles but in my opinion they have the better lineup.


Millwood has pitched good this year...he has just had no run support at all


Hernandez was awful in his last start lasting only 3 innings but pitched really well against the Os earlier this season


I think the Os are in a good spot for a win here but havent locked in any plays yet...Any thoughts on this game??

At some point though felix is going to have a bounceback game. The problem is o's could still win that game with 2-3 runs since the mariners cant hit. I know they had two games they did well but it was a fluke not because of the change in hitting coach. Gotta go orioles here.

Under 7.5 is the play i think. Neither teams offense can score any runs and both pitchers will probably go deep into the game.

I'm fading the M's here after last night's ass tanning. Here's why -- Milwood is due for a win and the team wants to reward him for his solid effort this season. Baltimore is batting .349 lifetime against Fernandez who left last Fridays start early due to back issues. He also ranks 7th highest in the league with 20 BB. Griffey JR. takes another nap in the clubhouse and invites the rest of the team to join him in the horrendous display of hitting.

Me too, but it was my fault. I didn't look at their starting lineup batting average. There is no reason to back SEA other than Felix. He went 9 innings giving up only 1 run against the O's last outing.

Talk about "due", only once has Felix gotten 4 straight L's in his career, and those where the last 4 games of that season against much mightier opponents. He has to hold down a lineup like this, right? I also think K-Wood will go deep into the game, but the SEA bullpen has to get the nod IMO.

i like the O's a lot here. millwood is a fly ball pitcher, and the M's have no power hitters. thats a recipe for pitching success. plus, with felix's health and recent pitching woe's, +114 is a good value in my opinion

Millwood's #'s looked better going into today, and the Mariners haven't hit squat for how long? How is it a foolish play? The Orioles fit my criteria for an underdog play today, that's why I went with them.

Brandon League is a huge turd. I may possibly win b/c of this, but bullpens are just awful these days. Lost a play the other day when the Mets scored 6 in the bottom half of the 8th. Dreadful.... (shakes head)
