Last chance to win that O7 bet. Can the Giants score just one more run? I doubt it, but we'll see.

I'm starting to become a believer in this Padres team...
Their starting and relief pitching is solid and they're winning ugly.
I wouldn't be surprised to see San Diego in the postseason this year.
Hopefully Adrian sticks around...

It is hard to ride off the Padres. Guys are playing some great baseball. There is money to be made on this team if everyone continues to not believe. I like it. I have been riding there hot streak for a couple weeks now.

I didn't think much of Padres a week ago, but I've changed my mind since the Houston series
check out the at bats....every hitter is patient & they don't just try to pull everything

Great point. Their hitters seem to be very disciplined and they pounce on mistake pitches.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think 4 of their 5 RBI's tonight came on 0-2 pitches.

i'm starting to believe too, an ungodly team era of 2.71 so far and enough patient hitting will carry them through the race.
granted that era won't hold up all season, but in that ballpark they'll probably have one of the best, if not the best, team era.

They steal bases, draw walks, do what it takes to win. Adrian has been in a HORRIBLE slump and the overall team average is very poor but quality starting pitching (way better than I expected) and an awesome bullpen has been the key to their success. I think it will hold up because of the pitching depth (CY could be back at some point)
