My new system, call it the HallLince system
I am not going to tell you this was my idea either.

    I stole this idea.

I heard it on a sportsradio station today in Philadelphia.

From this point forward through the rest of the year, I am going to lay the chalk with Roy Halladay and Lincecum for the rest of the MLB season.

I usually don't re-up much in baseball, but I like this idea.

    Here it goes.

Every time out, I am laying the chalk with Halladay/Lincecum---unless they are pitching against one another of course.

The Phills/Rockies have been postponed tonight, so it will begin with their next start.

My formula/bet will be i3X (where x is the line).

Halladay was going off at -180 tonight, requiring me to lay 540 to win 300.

I will keep track of the money I piss away or money I win in this thread. If I get down 2K---I am out until college football season.

Nobody will ever think about laying the chalk AGAINST these pitchers, except under very rare circunstances.
It will be a smarter idea, though, if you weigh other facts everytime Halladay/Lincecum play, just to make sure you're making the right move.

    Good luck!

      not so sure.

SF is 41-25 in Lincecum's starts the last two years, if the average odd are higher than -164, which they more or less are with Lince, you'll be losing money

Halladay may be a different animal, its hard to know exactly how good he will be, but in Cliff Lee's 12 start last year the Phils were 12-3, in Happs 23 they went 14-9 ...

        Good points.

And I am going to continue with Halladay out every time---but be more selective with Lincecum.

I will pick and choose my spots with him.

Thanks for the advice and it made me think more about it.

If you want to bet Lincecum just bet him at Home if the Giants lost their previous game and it's not the second game of the series

          17-3 ML
          14-6 RL
