I have to question Hurdle's decision on this one. This guy has been on the DL since like early August. WTF is he thinking.

that's trouble, why would you start a guy who hasn't pitched in weeks?

Yeah, I agree that Hurdle's taking a chance here. But he is going with the conventional wisdom of a veteran over a rookie (Morales), a veteran who, when on, has one nasty sinker which is important in Coors, and a veteran who pitched very well already this year against the Sox.
