Tim Wakefield is being left off Boston's roster for the World Series because of a bad shoulder.


This has to suck for Wakefield big time, because it's hard enough to get to a World Series, but that shoulder must be killing him that badly if he can't play in it.

I didn't have much confidence in Wake, but I have even less confidence in Lester.
