I'm thinking the over may be a play here today. First the weather in Clev at the moment is very windy. 23mph winds gusting up to 40mph coming from the west. That would be blowing out center to right field. Next look at the total trends. The over is 13-4 in Verlanders last 17 against the Tribe, over is 6-2 Verlanders last 8 road starts against the Tribe. Now look at the ump Mike Reillys over trends. Over is 11-3-1 last 15, over is 3-1-1 last 5 against Det. Also Masterson got pounded in his one start against Det last year. To me these point towards an over with the wind being a big factor. What worries me is why is it set at 8 with these strong over trends & weather conditions that will be pushing the ball? Any thoughts on this one?
