    GAME 1
Chicago dropped the second game in a row to the Pirates, in fact it was the same match-up back in Sept of 09 when Morton shut-out the Cubs with Lilly opposing him. Now the cubs are now not only in danger of getting swept by the Pirates but are in danger of lossing 4 in a row to Pittsburgh which hasn't happened in over 4 years. The Cubs will send Randy Wells to hill to try and stop the streak. Wells will be looking for his fourth win in row as the crafty Right-Hander holds a 3-0 record with a 3.45 ERA and a WHIP of 1.34. Chicago has won 4 of his last 5 starts this season, and has gotte plenty of run support averaging almost 7 rpg when Wells is on the hill. Wells has an ERA of 1.42 on the road and still maintains perfecting at 2-0. Well only faced the Pirates twice and games came last year as he ent 2-0 giving up 1 run in one game and 2 runs in the other posting an ERA of 2.08. Lifetime against Pittsburgh. The Pirates are ina good position to sweep the Cubs for the first tim in four years (Aug 06). Brain Burres will take the hill for the BUcs. This will be his second spot start filling for the injured Ross Ohlendorf, Burres held the Dodgers to 4 hits over 5 2/3 innings last Thursday in a 2-0 victory, his first win July of 08 with the Orioles, But from 7/08-4/12/10 he has been rocked every start giving up 33 earned runs with only 1 shut-out in that span, pitching past the 5th inning only one time, With Ohlendorf set to return from the DL list next week. Burres wil continue to fill in for him. Burres has a 9.31 ERA in his first 3 apperances, and ha only 1 inning of relief experience against the Cubs but will have a tough time cracking the four game streak against the Chicago with Wells on the hill. Chicago should handle the Bucs with Burres on the hill.

    CHICAGO CUBS -175
The line was -145 this morning but by the time I got to the casino it rose this much not very confident with this play just because I don't lay this kind of juice with any pitcher with the exception of a hand full.

    GAME 2
The Giants have won their last 4 series, But has had problems completing the sweep in these situations against their opponents. matt Cain will take the hill for the Giants. Cain has lasted 7 innings in 17 of his 33 starts when he made the NL All-Star team last season, But has only pitched to the 7th inning once in his four starts this year, However Cain has managed to show he can still go the distance as he allowed only one hit, three walks, over an 8 inning shut-out game agaisnt Colorado in his last start. The Right-Hander, overall is 1-1 with a 2.84 ERA in his first 5 starts of the season, the Giants have dropped 3 of his 5 starts this year and two of his last 3 dispite havin a 1.89 ERA. Cain has faced the Fish 5 times in his career and is 2-0 with a 2.8 ERA.
Ricky Nolasco will take the hill for the Marlins. Overall Nolasco is 2-1 with an ERA just over 4 with the Fish winning 3 of his 5 starts thus far, But he seems to be a much different pitcher at home. The Right-Hander is 2-0 witha 1.90 ERA away from Sun-Life Park and 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA at Sun-Life Park with the Marlins dropping both of Nolasco's games. Nolasco has done well against the Giants going 1-1 with a 1.13 ERA. His win was at AT&T park where he pitched a 2 hit shut-out and of course his loss came at home in Sun-Life Park.
Pablo Sadoval has rocked Nolasco for 3 hits and 2 doubles off 5 at bats and rowand is heating up. The Center-Feilder has homered in both games hitting .442 with 4 homers and 15 RBIs in his last 10 games at Sun-Life. Cain gets the win here an the Giants get the sweep

    SAN FRANSISCO GIANTS +110

    LATE NIGHT BAIL OUT GAME
Tampa Bay continues to roll on the road as they are on a 11-1 run and 13-3 in their last 16 games. Now the rays will try for their first sweep at Safeco Feild since Aug of 04. Tampa Bay has used 2 soild 8 inning starts from Sheilds and Garza. The rays have a major league best 2.29 ERA road average. Jeff Neimann will get the start for Tampa Bay. The Right-Hander was brilliant in his last start allowing 1 run in 7 1/2 innings of work, but got a no decision as the Rays fell 3-2 to the Royals. Neimann has pitched well thus far in the season holding a 2.76 ERA and a WHIP of 1.02 but has only 1 decision thus far in which came at Fenway against the Red Sox, But the Tampa Bay has backed him up winnning both of Neimann's road starts this season, averaging 8rpg for support. Neimann is 1-0 life-time against the Mariners.
Ryan Rowland-Smith will be the opposing pitcher for Seattle. He has given up 5 runs in each of his last 2 starts pitching 5 2/3 innings at Kansas City. Smith has yet to get a decision in his last 2 starts posting a 5.29 ERA overall the mariners have dropped 3 of his 5 starts of the season while holding a 5.28 ERA. Seattle is 1-1 at Safeco with Smith on the hill But he is 0-1 with a 4.15 ERA and give him 2rpg for support. Rowland-Smith has not pitched poorly against the Rays going 2-0 with a 3.63 ERA but the RAys are a different team this year and they are hitting the ball hard and well. If they can get 5 runs off Cy Young Winner Cliff Lee then they can get a few of Rowland-Smith. The Rays once again ill roll tonight.
