On to today---
i just cant understand why bush is a favorite here... is it home field advantage?? is it that they are finally letting him pitch on 5 days of rest after being shelled for 7 runs in 1/3 of an inning against the twins in his last outing?? Is it that brett myers hasn't put up stellar numbers on the road??
not quite sure what the deal is here, but i watched every pitch myers threw against tampa in which there was an error in the first inning which allowed an unearned run, then he proceeded to hold them scoreless for the rest of the game... in fact, in the last 28 innings he has given up 8 earned runs... 4 against the giants (go figure)
He has pitched tough against the cards, snakes and rays... and he will be strong again today if he can get out of the first inning.
