roy halladay has had good success against this cards ball club.so far he has had pujols number in 4 at bats pujols best one was hitting in the in field,he has 3 ground outs in 4 at bats.halladay is 5-1 with a good era at 1.47.he also has 3 complete games and his last start was perfect in the mets 10-0 win.how can you go against a pitcher that has 4 walks and 39 k.os in 39 inn pitched.
now on the flip side cards are 2-1 underdogs which you wont see very often this season and pujols has a 10 game hit streak going.
this is my write up for the game and hope it helps some one on SBR.as a sports fan and only that the phillies is prolly the winner if you dont like either ball club just because of pitching but as a sports fan the cards is the better play for no more than a half unit because if a half unit wins you get 1 full unit and the odds are a little in favor of playing the underdog instead of playing the fav.
my best advice is pass on this game or take the cards for a half unit.the phillies is way to chalky and you have to think hallday will have his toughest pitching game as of yet.
as for the over 8 i have to say as far as odds i think the over is way more possible to happen than the under 8 is a good number for this match up if you play the over because i feel the cards will get to halladay this game and i think phillies will also score some runs also.
