I know the Padres have been playing good ball, but Jimenez is a Top 10 starting pitcher. Rockies.

My guess is that the books expect Jimenez to lose this one and they're trying to pile the money on the Rockies. A streak this good cannot last forever. Same thing happened with Halladay's first loss against the Giants on the road. Philly was only -130 and guess what? Giants won.
Correia is having a breakout season as well. With solid pitching and a low total, the value is on SD to squeeze out a win. I actually like SD +1.5 better.
With that said, I almost laid a fortune on it yesterday but held off. Line seems too sketchy... Who knows though, Rockies could always win 2-0.

I guess he meant by the line. The game did open in the -160 range but it's tough for a line like that to hold with such a hot team in SD. I'm on small SD +1.5 and ML so it'll be an interesting game to see. Lot of posters feeling the Rockies.

id say the line is more of a reflection of how SD is playing, much more so than a insult to Jimenez

San Diego is 10-3 at home Colorado is 5-8 on the road. Its not lack of respect, SD is playing out of their asses and Colorado doesn't put runs up on the road.

Depending how big the parlay pays out, it's usually always a good idea to hedge your bet (especially if the parlay is for big money).

Yes, I meant respect in terms of the low line. The line dropped probably 30 cents from when it came out.

sd has been hot and Jimenez has got to melt down sooner or later.
