If that's all it is, line seems overly adjusted. Fair line under normal circumstances with this pitching mathup should be about KC -110/+100 on dime line, KC -115/-105 on 20-cent line.

The line is unrealistic but the play is:

TB -1.5.

That's the way it is. Rays' offense gets more productive and Greinke won't get much run support.

I like TB....Wade Davis is no slouch. Ive learned that lines sometimes get wildly over or undervalued bases on starting pitcher. I think this is a classic case. I would have expect to see KC+145, TB-155

The problem I am having here is WHY should Rays offense suddenly wake up vs Greinke after struggling vs. lesser pitchers the last two games? If a team is in a batting slump, Greinke is the last pitcher in the world I would want to face.

The only compelling argument I see in this thread is the fact that Soria is out after pitching the last two games, meaning that Royals may need a Complete Game from Greinke to win. Then again, he is quite capable of doing that. Still, I am staying away since the value may be gone if he HAS to go nine innings, as rest of KC pen besides Soria is garbage.

no one's contesting the rays can hit, they just haven't been hitting lately and are now facing one of the best pitcher in the AL. key for TB is to work the count and make greinke throw alot of pitches and force that bullpen to finish the game. Greinke has run himself out of a few games (and a few victories) by throwing too many pitches early.

Wade Davis is not to shabby as a pitcher. The Rays are 3-1 when he starts this year for them. It's a little over priced, but I certainly wouldn't be picking KC in this spot. Pass
