Are their any Doyer fans here? If so can you please explain how this once proud franchise has a lower payroll than the Minnesota Twins? McCourt is a joke.

Not sure where your numbers are from, but there opening day payroll was 102M, which is inline with what its been for the last 10 years, while the twins made a huge jump to 97M(26M more than their previous high) this year because of a new stadium.
The biggest difference is "dead" money, the Dodgers are paying about 16M to players no longer on the team (including an astonishing 7 million to Juan Pierre) while the Twins are paying just 100,000.
