That was a terrible call on the Span drop. He clearly made the catch and dropped the ball on the transfer. Ump not even close to being in a good position to make the call.

I haven't looked at the weather yet, but I will tell you that the umpire in 5 games this year is 1-4 under. Willis is tied for 12th in inducing ground balls into double plays and Minnesota hits a lot of ground balls.

Just some information to add to the pot.

I'm thinking under but Willis is so bad.

over seems like a much easier call than picking a side in this one, with Pavano and Willis going real hard not to think both these teams put some runs up today

The point of trends meaning nothing is true to some extent. I mean if one digs deep enough they will find numbers that can contradict other numbers. It just depends on what numbers you believe hold more weight. That being said I still like the twins due to the fact that over the past few years Pavano pitches pretty well against the Tigers (4-1 with an ERA of 3.00) whereas Willis holds an ERA over 7 vs. the Twins. Picking the Twins is an opinion of mine and you should decide for yourself what you like. I know that I hold a biast opinion for the Twins since I live in Minneapolis and follow them religiously. That being said I realize this is an in division Rivalry game and more than likely anything can and probably will happen. BOL to those of you out there that wager on this match up!!

Minnesota is no doubt better then KC
